Hyundai has launched the Aura E CNG variant with a tag of 7.49 lakh INR. This new entry-level variant reduces the price of the Aura CNG by ₹82,000. The sedan now offers CNG in three variants: E, S, and SX.
Aura E CNG: Price and Features
The Aura E CNG is tagged 1 lakh INR more than its petrol cousin, bagging the title of most budget-friendly CNG sedan in India. Unlike other Hyundai CNG models(Exter and Grand i10 Nios), the Aura E CNG continues to carry the single-cylinder legacy.
Hyundai Aura E CNG: Powertrain and Specs
The Aura CNG is propelled by a 1.2-litre, V4 engine producing 69hp and 95Nm with CNG, and 83hp and 114Nm in petrol mode. The car transfers power through a 5-speed manual transmission, with no AMT options available for the CNG variant.
Competition
The Aura CNG rivals Tata Tigor CNG (7.75 – 9.95 lakh INR) and Maruti Dzire CNG (8.44 – 9.12 lakh INR). For petrol seekers, it shares the market with the Honda Amaze.
