Refreshed AMG G 63 carries mild-hybrid tech, refreshed looks and features.
Mercedes-Benz has launched the AMG G 63 revamp in India, beginning at ₹3.60 crore (ex-showroom). The facelift brings slight design tweaks, added features, and key mechanical updates.

Mercedes-AMG G 63 Facelift: Design and Features
The AMG G 63 facelift gets minor exterior updates, including a new front bumper with vertical slats, a dark chrome grille, rounded A-pillars and a new windscreen lip for improved aerodynamics and reduced NVH levels. At the back, it gets an optional carbon fibre-finished spare wheel cover. The rear includes an optional carbon fibre spare wheel cover.
The updated version celebrates an MBUX infotainment system, a 12.3-inch touchscreen as driver’s display, wireless Apple CarPlay, a new three-spoke AMG performance steering wheel and a 760-watt Burmester sound system with 18-inch speakers. Practical features like keyless entry, temperature-controlled cup holders, and wireless charging with 31 unique MANUFAKTUR upholstery options and 29 MANUFAKTUR paint options.

Mercedes-AMG G 63 Facelift: Powertrain and Performance
The 48V mild-hybrid system is paired with the 4.0-litre 3,982cc twin-turbo V8 engine, producing 585hp and 850Nm of torque, with an additional 22hp. It still comes with the 9-speed DCT automatic gearbox and features paddle shifters.
The AMG G 63 now gets an optional AMG Active Ride Control (Mercedes’ hydraulic, anti-rollbar-free suspension tech). It reaches 0-100km/hr in 4.3 seconds with a launch control function and has a top speed of 240km/hr with the AMG Performance package. Off-road capability is secured 229mm ground clearance and a water-wading depth of 700mm, a 31° approach angle and the ability to remain stable on inclines of up to 35° with optional 22-inch alloy wheels with a centre-locking mechanism.

Mercedes-Benz India has already allocated the first batch of 120 units. New bookings will begin delivery by Q3 2025.
